This Kendo experience was so fun, exciting, educational and enlightening, Toshi was amazing, he is a serious teacher, but also so patient and he just supports you through the whole class, explaining everything and making sure you are comfortable and enjoying every part of the experience.
They took so much pictures and I was happy for that as a solo traveler. You learn the history of kendo and all the stands, you get to wear the armor that they use and I even did a sparring with Toshi sensei ( he is so so fast). So happy I booked this, you should too and discover an amazing Japanese martial art. 10/10 experience!!

I practiced kendo in Tokyo and this class was very good at learning more in depth history, practicing basics, and even sparring with Sensei at the end for a real challenge. My friend joined too and she'd never done Kendo before so this class is very versatile good for beginners and people that have practiced kendo before. They also take lots of pictures and video so you have those to keep at the end. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The dojo is exceptionally nice with lots of things worthy of taking pictures with like weapons and samurai armour. They even recomended places to eat in the Osaka area which is great to get from a local. highly recommend for everyone!

3 weken geledenThis kendo experience in Japan was truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the end of the session, everything was perfectly organized, making it easy to fully enjoy the activity. The instructors were incredibly kind, respectful, and attentive to every participant, which immediately made me feel comfortable. You can really sense their passion and dedication to sharing the spirit of kendo, which makes the learning process even more enriching. It’s far more than just an introduction – it’s a genuine immersion into Japanese culture and its values. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something truly unique and memorable.

september 2025It was an incredible experience. I'd never had the chance to try Kendo before. The instructors were incredibly friendly, fun, and wonderful. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to learn not only the basic stances and techniques, but also the philosophy and history of Kendo. Their fluent, understandable English and fun demeanor made communication very easy. The little spar we had at the end of the training might be one of the most enjoyable moments of my entire trip, even though I barely scored a single point against my instructor. Thank you for allowing me to capture these memories with wonderful photos and 4K quality videos. Thank you also for the refreshments and friendly conversation after the training. The two-hour training felt like two minutes. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to meet not only Kendo but also such a professional team. If I lived in Japan, I would dedicate myself to this martial arts :") An experience that should be included in every travel plan!
