La Casita was perfect - peaceful, quiet, beautifully decorated and designed to incorporate modern conveniences (outlets, lighting, appliances, ac/heat, beautiful shower and bathroom) luxurious bedding, linens, and pillows into an historic casita. Every detail was carefully made to create an incredible experience.

The hosts, Stephen and Carola, are super hosts. They embody the spirit of hosting- they are there when you need them whether to ask a question, address a concern or to ask for a recommendation while also giving their guests their privacy.

I HIGHLY recommend Stephen and Carola's "La Casita" if you are visiting San Diego. You will not be disappointed.

Steven was wonderful! So responsive and helpful and friendly. He welcomed us into his home with a detailed of restaurant recommendations, parking tips, and secret spots. He is a thoughtful, kind host and helped us have a wonderful first time in San Diego. We will absolutely be back!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay as we came to visit our daughter for Parents weekend. It was a comfortable bed, a nice sizable bathroom. It had nice amenities in the refrigerator that my husband and I appreciated. It was walking distance to great coffee shop! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.
