There's not a huge amount left but it does date from 1070 and a village church just beside it from the same date is still in working order.

It is situated in the village of Bramber, West Sussex overlooking the River Adur. This place is by walking distance from Steyning and the castle is really the remains of it

This is about a 20 minute walk from us, a pretty area to walk around & some interesting history too!
