These lovely tea rooms are down the bottom end of the high street. She makes all the amazing cakes & there’s a wide choice of specialty teas & coffees. There’s also vegan cakes available too.

Bramber Castle is a Norman motte-and-bailey castle formerly the caput of the large feudal barony of Bramber long held by the Braose family. It is situated in the village of Bramber, West Sussex, near the town of Steyning, overlooking the River Adur.

Bramber Castle is a Norman motte-and-bailey castle formerly the caput of the large feudal barony of Bramber long held by the Braose family. It is situated in the village of Bramber, West Sussex, near the town of Steyning, overlooking the River Adur.

See what a fascinating place this is, lying across ancient chalk-downland tracks in West Sussex, with timber-framed houses and flint churches. There will be a warm welcome for you at the museum. We are independently run by volunteers, for the community, and admission is free.
