The wine monopoly is the only place you can buy liquors and spirits above 4,5% alcohol. Open until 18 Mon - Fri, until 15 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays.

Liquor, wine, strong beers and ciders (i.e. anything stronger than 4.7%), is sold through the state-run Vinmonopolet shops. The monopoly shops generally close at 6 PM on weekdays and 3 PM on Saturdays.

Where to buy your wine on the way to the cabin. Beer may be bought at the grocery stores until early evening. Other alcoholic drinks must be bought in seperate stores called Vinmonopolet. There are one in the city centre and one at Jekta shopping mall by the airport as well.
