Located at the end of a short gravel lane, this spacious homestay cabin is just 2.2 miles from the heart of Nashville- Indiana's quaint artist colony and tourist destination. Though it is easy to get to, you will feel like you are in the middle of the woods, which surround the house on three sides. You can touch the trees from the lovely decks, which wrap around the house on two levels. The lower level is private, but we don’t mind you hanging out down there and enjoying the view! The sweet smell of cedar and mix of antique and plush furnishings welcome your first step inside the cabin, and the wooded views from the full wall of glass doors beckon you to kick back and start relaxing. Spend your day taking in the beauty of the Brown County State Park, and checking out the area wineries, antique and artisan shops, art galleries, and restaurants in Nashville. Or, stay around the house and cook dinner together in the full kitchen or out on the gas grill while watching your friend (or your self!) reel in the catch-of-the-day at the 3-acre lake. Bait can be found under most rocks in the garden-borrow our shovel! Canoe and life-jackets available. In the evening, snuggle-up around the outdoor fire-pit or inside in front of the wood-burning “Brown County Stone” fireplace. If you so desire, turn on one of the flat screen TVs if you don't want to miss your favorite program or the "big game," or opt to pop-in one of our large selections of DVDs. Finally, enjoy the down-alternative comforters and high thread count towels and sheets as you are lulled to sleep by the peaceful rhythms of the woods... Fireflies and WiFi included FREE OF CHARGE! We are happy to suggest things to do/places to eat/local people to meet (or avoid!) OR will leave you to the peace and quiet the magical cabin ensures. Ontspan en ontspan in het historische huis van 1880. De shabby chique antieke inrichting nodigt uit tot een gezellige nachtelijke setting in deze accommodatie met 2 slaapkamers. De hele tweede verdieping is gewijd aan het bieden van een comfortabele rustige omgeving voor gasten. Elke slaapkamer is voorzien van een queensize bed en accessoires voor de zitkamer. Een Game Room Salon biedt plezier en ontspanning voor ochtendkoffie of 's avonds spel en tv-tijd. Een gedeeld bad in de gang. Deze woning uit 1880 stelt de gasten in staat om met moderne gemakken terug te stappen in de sfeer van weleer.

Ontspan met het hele gezin in deze rustige hut in het bos. Creekside Cabin werd oorspronkelijk gebouwd in de jaren 1860 en in de jaren tachtig werd het zorgvuldig herbouwd met een toevoeging. Het ligt op slechts drie kilometer van Nashville, Indiana en op 4 mijl van Brown County State Park. Na een dag vol avontuur ga je terug naar onze gezellige Creekside Cabin voor ontspanning in de hottub en s'mores bij de vuurplaats. Kom en geniet van een uitje uit de drukke wereld naar een rustig huis in het bos in Brown County, gelegen in de buurt van Nashville, IN. Je kunt genieten van de grote vergaderruimte met uitzicht op een prachtige vijver die is omgeven door bomen. Maak een ritje op de waterfiets en gooi je vislijn erin om meerval, bluegill en grote mondbaars te vangen. Elf hectare aan paden zorgen voor een mooie natuurwandeling. In de kou kun je genieten van koffie bij de open haard in de grote kamer die we noemen, The Sanctuary.

Als je dicht bij alles in Nashville wilt zijn, IN terwijl je midden in het bos zit, dan is dit de plek voor jou. Deze hut ligt op ongeveer 2,500 meter van de hoofdweg en voelt als het midden van de bossen. Daarnaast ligt Brown County State Park direct naast de grens tussen de west- en noordkant van het pand. De woning is 24 hectare in totaal, ongeveer 20 hectare volwassen bossen. In iets meer dan 5 minuten bent u bij de noordelijke ingang van Brown County State Park of in het centrum van Nashville, Indiana.

Enjoy a stay of charm and heritage at a 1906 Brown County home known as Helmsburg Station. It was originally owned by the Helm's of Helmsburg, IN and has been completely renovated from the exterior walls inward during 2019. Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line.
