Hartley’s allows visitors to Far North Queensland to get up close a personal with a wide range of Australian native animals. Even or grandson enjoys going there regularly to hand feed the animals and get up close and personal or stand back and watch.

Great for seeing and learning lots about crocodiles incl trip on lagoon with live feed, zoo with local animals (including friendly kangaroos for children), nice cafe at the lagoon, great snake and crocodile shows. Educational. Half an hour drive from Port Douglas, takes up a whole day.
