Just 5 miles south of Cannon Beach, this little wayside includes forested picnic areas, a restroom and a short walkway to the beach. This gorgeous sandy cove beach includes a seasonal waterfall, caves carved into sandstone cliffs and tide pools accessible during low tide. Named Hug Point because it was once part of the stagecoach and wagon route. Deep wagon wheel ruts are still cut into the hillside. Please use caution during high tide.
