This is a great trip up on the Grand Mesa. There is some dirt road travel here. There are 300 lakes up on the top of the Grand Mesa and just a spectacular drive on Highway 65/Grand Mesa Scenic Byway. Great places along the way to go paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, hiking and just enjoying the area.

Spectacular views for a hundred plus miles. Overlook a 5000 ft elevation drop. Only 14 miles of good road off the highway 65.
