Located on Hwy 74 in between Ponca and Jasper, Low Gap Cafe features American and Italian cuisine. Nicknamed “The Friendliest Place in Town,” this small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant was actually founded by a famous chef from New York City. We highly recommend eating dinner there! Open Wednesday-Sunday.

Low Gap Cafe is highly recommended by locals and tourists! It’s only a short 15 miles or so from the cabins. Wonderful food, including steaks, prime rib, seafood and more! A restaurant you wouldn’t expect to find in the ‘middle of nowhere’! You can byob. And on weekends, they have a little band. When the weather is nice, dine on the patio.

If you are West of Jasper for hiking, Elk watching or just a winding drive, very good Southern food.
