One of 3 cottages, the first permanent structures on KI, 2 are still standing, one is occupied and the other now a museum. Well worth a visit with the cottage as it was in it's hey day and old machinery, vehicles and even a light house to walk up!

An outstanding museum run by a group of dedicate volunteers. The cottage has a number of rooms set up with furniture and bric a brac from yesteryear. A couple of large sheds in the back yard hold many fascinating items that show the advance in technology, the furnishings from the local Masonic Hall (currently a dance studio), cars, farming vehicles and implements, and many tools. Climb to the top of the old lighthouse for a view across the bay.
