The Lido di Fano is a historic beach born as a bathing establishment in the 9th century and soon became a popular destination for the well-to-do of the time, which is why nearby villas and guest houses were born. Today the new Lido di Fano extends like a fan between the west pier of the tourist port and that of the Arzilla stream and is characterized by a wide beach all of golden sand, bathed by a blue sea and with gently sloping seabed. The beach is well equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds and play areas and in the evening it is particularly popular thanks to the proximity of pizzerias, ice cream parlors, bars and clubs.
