Glengesh ( Gleann Geis, Glen of the Swans) is one of two glaciated valleys that sculpture the northern edge of the Banagh peninsula.
Travel from Ardara through the Glengesh Pass to Glencolmcille. However, highly recommended is a stop as Maghera beach, which has a wild secluded feel to it and sea caves accessible at low tide.
The Glengesh Pass is a windy section of the road that connects Glencolmcille to Ardara. During the drive, motorists can enjoy the farmland, desolate moorland, and tranquil setting.
