This is a great place to go tubing. you can buy a tube from walmart or target for $15. I would call Givhans state park and ask them where you can leave one vehicle and float down to the next . Very fun ! Bring sun screen and water! Trip is about 3 miles. Time will vary from 3 hours to 5 depending on current. Ussually very slow in summer. Most of the river is walkable. some rope swings along the way.

A sandy beach along a cool, refreshing blackwater river (the freshwater's great for your skin!). You can picnic there, usually enjoy a rope swing, or float on tubes downriver to the next boat landing.

A really nice state park, most people start their floats or paddles from here.
