If you have kids of different ages, this science museum is cool because some areas will really appeal to younger kids, some to older ones. Their exhibits are educational and playful. With my teenager, I recently visited one about videogames from Pac-Man through the present. On a rainy day, head to the on-site theater, La Géode, where they play 3D and IMAX movies about animals and space. Tickets are separate from the admission price.

The Cité des sciences et de l'industrie (the museum of science and industry in Paris), one of the largest popularisations of science museums worldwide.
