Chosen for the site of the world economic forum following World War II, this still-thriving hotel and resort is quite a spectacle on a clear day. A great place to go for a drink in the evening, if only to read more about the history, take in the grand main hall and see the alpenglow on Mt. Washington from the expansive back porch. If you are headed to the cog railway or to the trails of Crawford Notch, you will be in close proximity.

Beautiful, drive up through Crawford Notch will bring you to the historic Mount Washington Hotel and Bretton Woods. Everyone needs to walk around the historic lobby of this hotel, at least once. Many great dining options within the hotel. As the sun sets on Mt Washington, join the many travelers on the rear veranda, as they capture amazing photos of the day's end. Always bustling!
