360 degree views of mountains, a bit of a hard hike, but very achievable. A bit rocky towards the end, but not slippery. When you get to the parking lot, look for the trail heads that start further away and to the left of trail map sign. Check out the towns of Evergreen or Morrison on your way out.

As a Denver Mountain Park, Elephant Butte gets little traffic. Great hiking and scrambling to a summit that boasts stunning views of the high peaks. One of my favorites - walk, hike, or run from here!
