Hampstead is probably the nicest place to live in London if you have expensive taste (and very deep pockets!) But there is plenty to see and do on a budget too. My personal highlights are: 1) Kenwood House - attached to the Heath and the setting for many famous period dramas 2) Hill Garden and Pergola - London’s best kept secret garden 3) The Hollybush Inn - a very traditional wonky old English pub with countryside feel. You might even spot a few celebrities at the bar!

Cobbled Streets, lovely shops for clothes, cafes, nice pubs and small art galleries. Can walk there across the Heath or take a bus from Highgate Village.
