10-12 min walk and worth it. This place is located in the Mercado Central and it's all worth a visit. The tamales are singularly moist and delicious. Lots of other food stalls and grocery in the mercado. And for something completely different visit Ingebretsen's Scandinavian Gifts and Deli just east on Lake street(closed on Sunday) while you're there. Quite the contrast.
