Gaustatoppen (1883m above sea level) towers majestically over Rjukan, and is considered by many to be Norway's most beautiful mountain. The top is easily accessible and easy to climb, but still offers the widest view of southern Norway. From the top you can in clear weather see about one sixth of Norway.
