We saved the best for last. Papa Guácaros Place has been THE place to celebrate the tradition of Puerto Rican Chinchorreo since 1940. A simple place with authentic Puerto Rican dishes, and lot of ambience on the weekends. Make sure to get here early. The food is its freshest between the hours of 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Aside from their regular menu serving all of the Puerto Rican classic dishes like Morcilla, Pollo Asado, Batata, Chicharrón, Arroz con Gandules etc., they also have changing daily specials like chicken or rabbit fricassé and Sancocho. The beer is always cold, and there is no experience more Puerto Rican than going to Papa Guacáros Place on the weekend for lunch. Give it a try!
