Η Μονή ήταν ιδιωτική και επί σειρά ετών ήταν πεσμένη μέχρι ότου αγοράσθηκε από τον Λευτέρη Πολέμη εφοπλιστή και ανεγέρθη. Σήμερα είναι άξια θαυμασμού
