For hill walkers the Comeraghs are a must, especially Coumshingaun (corrie lake)

the jewel of the Comeraghs, the glacial lake said to be one of the finest examples of a corrie lake (coum in gaelic) in Western Europe. There are nine lakes or coums to explore in the Comeragh mountains, all beautiful but none compare to the majesty of Coumshingaun.
