Aldeburgh is world-renowned thanks to its connection with Benjamin Britten, the founder of the Aldeburgh Festival, which takes place in June every year. Pastel-coloured 19th Century holiday villas line the promenade and to the east, the pebble beach with fisherman’s huts selling the daily catch.

Pretty seaside place. Great walks to 'Thorpeness', approximately a mile north of Aldeburgh. Also having the famous seashell sculpture on the beach, created by Maggi Hambling... well known arist. Aldeburgh has a unique feature for being a great place for walking, cycling and birdwatching with the location being surrounded by heathland, marshland and the shingle beach.

Aldeburgh is a beautiful Suffolk seaside town. A super long pebble beach. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying that sea air. Lots to see and do too. The Red House is a must to visit The best fish and chips anywhere too.
