Sioni Cathedral was first built by King Vakhtang Gorgasali in the V-th century. However, it was reconstructed in the 6th and 7th centuries. Restored in 1657.

Central Cathedral of Georgia. Patriarch sometimes serves there. Georgians respect this cathedral. You should have a look. Women supposed to cover their heads, men - no hats.
