There is a fabulous cheese shop (‘Molkerei Gertsch’) on Spielstatt (not far from train station) which sells locally produced cheese, milk, yogurt and butter. It has the best fondue mix in the region. Ask for the ‘aged’ mix. Open Monday to Friday 8am – 12noon and 2pm – 6.30pm, Saturday 8am – 12noon and 2pm till 5pm Closed Wednesday afternoon (www.milchprofi.ch/mitglieder/mitgl_det.asp?ID=5)
