The indoor zoo and pet store, Northern Exotics is a safe, good sanctuary for many exotic animals including monkeys and reptiles that once were kept as pets or were rescued or were neglected and abandoned. Animal lovers will rejoice at the sight of porcupines, Burmese pythons, fennec foxes, squirrel monkeys, and the Northern Pine snake, among others.
