For an afternoon drink and appetizer- call ahead, ask if they are seating people outside by the tennis courts. If so, make a reservation for one of these tables. It is a quintessential Newport experience as they are grass tennis courts owned by the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

This restaurant is in an old "gilded age" home. It lends itself to elegant dining. Food is delicious. The staff are across the board, efficient, professional, and friendly at the same time.

Short walk..Many choices here. Choose from dinner on back porch overlooking the grass tennis courts, cocktails in the Irish pub, or a lobster roll on the sidewalk cafe!
