Our Favorites: Shrimp Wontons, Fried artichokes, Salmon Piccata, Balsamic Ribeye, Gorgonzola Burger, Country Fried Steak. Great place to sit outside with beautiful views of the Guadalupe River. Definitely a local favorite!

The Gruene River Grill has been serving the New Braunfels area since 2004. Overlooking the Guadalupe River in the historic district of Gruene, we offer outside patio seating and air-conditioned indoor seating. We also have private dining rooms available for your next special event.

Nice relaxing atmosphere and serene patio out back. My favorite: Pork Carnitas and the Filet with gorgonzola. Huge portions so plan to take some home or split with a friend

The Guadalupe River’s crystal clear water is one of the most beautiful stretches of Texas. Storytelling, swimming, and yes, an occasional water fight is an unforgettable experience. Float trips are variable due to the fluctuations in release rates from Canyon Dam, but there are usually trips from 2 1/2 to 8 hours available. Paddlers can travel at their own pace. Check out the latest current river conditions, Inflatable kayaks and tubes are also available for rent.
