This is always our first stop when we arrive in the village to stock up on wine and a fantastic range of imported French cheese. Run by Ludwig and Ludine Maske this is an amazingly indulgent emporium owned by wonderful people who are an integral part of the village. Unsure what to buy there is always good advice on hand from friendly staff - slip down into the cellar to view some real gems. Ludwig supplies and develops the wine lists for many of the villages restaurants so you know you are in good hands.... 5 mins walk from Nooks.
