Secret gem downtown. Great place to have great food and hear live music. Doesn't take reservations so first come first serve, or just be willing to grab a drink and wait.

Off the water choice is Owen's fish Camp located in downtown Sarasota. Funky place that is "old Florida style" that has a great outdoor courtyard where you can actually order from the window instead of waiting for a table. A must if you visit Sarasota.
