The Outdoor + Active Centre offers unrivaled watersports facilities in the unique surroundings of Stithians Lake. With sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, SUP and canoeing activities available, the centre provides modern and well-equipped facilities both on and off the water. Tuition, launch and equipment hire are offered and further details of all the facilities at this lake can be found on our Outdoor + Active page. In addition to the Outdoor + Active centre there is also a children's play area overlooking the lake, a trim trail for those who enjoy land based fitness, and a cycle way leading to the dam. We are pleased to have the guys from Explorer Cycle Hire based on site to cater for all your cycling needs. With over five and a half miles of bank, walkers and bird watchers will enjoy the peaceful surroundings and bird hides. As if all this was not enough we have the fantastic Cafe Nova based within the Outdoor + Active centre, a great place to grab a coffee and some of Hayley's famous cake's or some of the other delights on offer. Sit back and enjoy the fantastic views of the lake. Fly fishing for trout is well catered for with season and day permits and boat hire available from the centre.

Go and see Matt at Stithians Watersports Centre. They run kids clubs, and adult sessions in lots of different watersports such as windsurfing, sailing, SUPing and winging. They also hire out kit. There is a cafe and the walk around the lake is a nice one too. Plus there is a small play park.
