The nearly century old ‘Mercado de Salamanca’, located in the district of El Molinillo, is significantly smaller and less well known than its big brother, the ‘Mercado Atarazanas’ but it is certainly worth a visit and it’s only a ten- minute walk from the city centre. Immerse yourself in everyday Spanish life in this bustling indoor market. The buoyant Neo-Mudéjar style of this building is remarkable.
