Rebecca Spit is a magical place that is a must visit during your stay. Go for a walk along the Spit for some breathtaking views, or soak in some sun along the beach and enjoy a swim or kayak in the protected waters.

"The Spit" is one of the most accessible and age friendly places on Quadra Island. If your looking for a good area for a morning jog (6km from the road to the tip) a place to swim, watch the sunset or have a picnic, look no further! Drive towards the end and you will find a large field with picnic benches along the beach.

Quadra Island can be visited on a day trip. It is about an hours drive and a ten minute ferry over to the island. Rebecca Spit is a spectacular park, with an easy walk to the end of the spit. Takes about an hour and a half there and back. Good views of the coast mountains and if you're lucky you might see seals or even whales. Leave lots of time to catch the ferry in summer time as the ferry can get quite busy.
