They have a great dog park and a area for off leash so your doggie can run around. They also have several trails to walk as well. This park is also by the Rivanna River . You can park your car and there is a walkway across the bridge to look at the River.

Pleasant Grove is a massive public park with over 10 miles of hiking trails, a playground, multiple picnic shelters, an old farm museum, river views, and more!

This park is a 10 min drive. It offers a dog park, a sandy beach on the Rivanna River. It is a short hike to Great swimming, fishing, canoeing,kayaking. There is also a picnic pavilion to enjoy the day.

Almost 20 miles of trails located 1/2 mile from Palmyra proper on Rt. 53W (Thomas Jefferson Parkway). Take the trail that leads to the beachy shores of the Rivanna River and plan a picnic. The historic manor is frequently available for tours and hosts local historical events as well.
