5 Minutes drive is The Red Lion local country pub in the heart of Shirland. A hub of the local community and passers alike, the pub has a warm character, log burner, & charm. They are well-known for their juicy burgers, hearty pies, curries & Sunday roast. There's plenty to discover behind the bar as well, with Real ales being their speciality!

The Red Lion is a traditional country pub, providing local, homemade pub classics at a reasonable price. Dog friendly. Walking distance from The Granary and Rookery Nook.

Within walking distance, good food and drinks. Pizza on Wednesdays. They also do takeaway but you’ll need to collect.
