If you want to spend a day in Cape May you can take the ferry and take a shuttle , taxi or Uber into Cape May or drive your car or bike on the ferry. You can also bring your dog !

A great , affordable day trip ! The modern ferries are like mini cruise ships . You can take your vehicle or bike , and spend some time in historic Cape May , or walk on for only about $8 ( kids under 6 are free ) , and cruise round trip in about 3 hrs . (It’s a 70 minute crossing ). Dogs are welcome , too !

Dine at On the Rocks restaurant, small arcade inside, playground on site, watch the ferries come and go or hop aboard one!

Great way to tour the ocean. Awesome FREE zoo in Cape May with fun playgrounds. Just drive your car on the boat, or you can walk on the ferry but make sure the shuttles are running in Cape May before you leave your car in Lewes.
