A nice day excursion to Ktima Perek: Ktima Perek lies 30 km from Thessaloniki in the mountainous Pontic village of Monopigado with breath-taking unimpeded views of Mt. Olympus’ peaks and the beautiful Thermaic Gulf. Incorporating materials from the locale such as wood and rock as well as old objects into its design, Ktima Perek has been built using traditional construction methods and is strongly reminiscent of a Greek mansion. At Ktima Perek it’s all about the quality guaranteed by age-old traditions that we keep alive; quality that comes from the fine ingredients we grow on the estate, the very best local produce carefully selected by us, and then lovingly prepared by hand, and cooked using traditional methods in Dutch ovens in wood stoves. Every meal is a journey back into the days of old.
