The George Hotel (www.thegeorgehathersage.com) at the bottom of the road, is newly refurbished throughout and has a great atmosphere for both drinks in the bar and a meal out. The George also provide very good takeaway pizza.

The George is a recently refurbished Hotel in Hathersage village a short walk from Glen Cottage that offers a good cosy ambience. Varied menu, you can dine in the restaurant or bar area. I would recommend booking before.
