The path runs both north and south of Scarborough. Good starting points are the Spa (south towards Filey) or Old Scalby Mills (North towards Whitby)
The 108-mile horseshoe-shaped Cleveland Way leaves Helmsley to the north, arching east through the North York Moors before returning south along the coast from Saltburn to Filey Brigg. Gorgeous coast, pretty fishing harbours, rugged hills and ancient monuments – all in one spectacular route. Welcome to the wonders of North Yorkshire’s Cleveland Way.
Great for keen walkers, our property is situated a stones throw away from the Cleveland Way, along coastal pathways (it can be very challenging in places) the pathway runs along the North Bay and will take you as far as whitby.
