Landmark, climb the tower, so you can see the carillon inside and have a beautiful view towards the harbour of Antwerp on one side and Brussels on the other side. (look for the Atomium!)

Built in the 14th century, it is THE landmark of Mechelen. Don't hesitate to climb the 97m high tower. On a clear day, you can see the atomium in Brussels and the OLV Cathedral in Antwerp. 7 EUR pp

Its amazing ... go and see it but pick a good day to do the "steps"
