A walk along the Urangan pier is a must. Talk to locals, see some while life and lovely view of the great sandy straits.

Long long pier - take an ice cream and a good pair of shoes...fishermen on it will show off their catch - amazingly friendly people. Great spot.

A very long jetty that is a great place to walk out, perhaps throw in a line, catch some fish

Used as a freight terminal until late 1960's and gifted to the council in 1980 from the State government. Fishing from the Pier permitted.
