This place is an institution! It's been around for decades and the steak is amazing. It comes in a pool of butter sauce, served with potatoes, and bread. Scrumptious! Meat and fat lovers only, though.

Ok, this place is 85 plus years in Austin and there is not another place you will find like it. One of my favorites for many reasons. First off been going here since the early 90's. It recently added a bar that is family owned and operated called the Rustic Tap. Great Austin Vibe and a steak like no other. The Lemon Butter sauce is the business! Paired with a salad and some Potato wedges. Coke on ice or some tea, or the drink form the bar. You call it. More than likely if you ask about me they will know your host. Great Family people.
