The Nature Reserve at Rye Harbour is a nationally important area on the channel coast, running around westwards to Winchelsea and then eastwards around to the wildly beautiful RSPB Reserve at Dungeness.

This is a lovely place to walk, very child friendly with a cafe along the route.

The stunning Nature reserve, flocked with rare birds, is the perfect place to catch the sunset. At its edge lies the vast camber and winchelsea beaches.

The new Rye Harbour Discovery Centre is now open and it is well worth visiting. There are well-presented and interesting information boards all around together with other displays. The centre is wheelchair, pushchair and dog friendly. There is also an adjacent cafe.
