Situated in the eastern Santa Monica Mountain range, the Park’s elevations range from 384 to 1,625 feet above see level.

A 15 min drive away, this is my go-to for 1-2h hikes on the week-end. Hike to the Hollywood sign or to the stunning Griffith Observatory with a really well done science museum.

Griffith Park covers 4,310 acres of land, making it one of the largest urban parks in North America. Excellent park for hiking.
