Enjoy the Neptune Restaurant at the yacht club. Enjoy a boat ride. Nice for kids to play on the grass and paddle in the harbor. Access from parking behind the main road.

Some of the best sailing in the Western Cape happens here, especially after the north-wester has had a chance to turn the ocean flat and tranquil. Speak to your hosts about opportunities to get afloat in False Bay.

You will have to go through the gate, request the match club restaurant and they will let you through. Its a bar/restaurant right on the ocean front, overlooking the harbour and all the boats. The food is very simple but always good, it has lovely views and provides a safe space for the kids to play around in! Never had a bad time there!

Virtually unknown to tourists one can in fact get into the yacht club by signing in at the gate to go to the small Neptune's restaurant which is a lovely chilled out place for a simple lunch. If you want to sail there are often boats looking for crew on Wednesday and Saturdays, if you look on their notice board.
