On the edge of the Black Mountains and within easy reach of the Brecon Beacons. The cottage has its own entrance with central heating and gas fire (Log burner look) for those cosy nights in, it has lounge/diner kitchen, utility room, bathroom and double bedroom and courtyard garden.

River Cottage is a traditional 2 bedroom, stone cottage, full of character on the southerly edge of the Brecon Beacons. It was built in 1860, originally as a school, and later converted into 4 homes. It offers stylish, comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people and their dogs. This quaint, dog friendly cottage is situated in front of the River Tawe. With easy access to Craig Y Nos castle, Brecon Becons and the Gower, allowing for a perfect relaxing getaway or active walking/cycling holiday.
The accommodation is a self contained en-suite accommodation in a quiet semi rural location. It has a large private balcony to the rear of the property which is a perfect sun trap overlooking ancient woodland . Here you can relax while listening to the sound of the water running in the brook below. There is also a separate private patio area on the ground floor for al-fresco dining together with a BBQ for guests use. There is secure storage for cycles and other equipment on the ground floor.

We are within 2 miles of Margam Park and only a 10 minute drive to the bustling coastal town of Porthcawl. We are a 35 min drive from the beautiful beaches of the Gower.
