The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!

A charming and comfortable cottage in a rural setting. The house has a separate bedroom suite that makes it great for 2 couples or families to share. And there is a fenced in area attached to the house where dogs can be let free. The house is in a convenient location with quick and easy access to all areas of downtown Asheville, and attractions, and 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are local stores and restaurants within just a few miles of the house.

Moments from downtown Black Mountain and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, our space is perfect for those guests planning on visiting either town (or both!) The rental is a finished basement apartment below our main living space. It has a private entrance, so you might not see us at all-- unless you're looking for local recommendations (which we're happy to give) or to borrow a board game from our extensive collection!

We have electricity, good well water, laundry, and WIFI! Escape from the storm with everyday luxuries, and a gorgeous view. Check out nearby area's open for business, including Black Mountain, Marion, Blowing Rock, Nantahala, and our sweet local Brewery Hillmann!!! Limit one load of laundry per night. FYI, you share the yard with our other guests and our 3 sweet dogs.

Spring Mountain House

Spring mountain house is a modern micro cabin perched above the creek in a lush mountain forest. Scandinavian inspired, this cabin was designed and built by the hosts using site-harvested lumber and custom hand-crafted wood and metalwork features. The cabin lays on a south-facing mountain covered in rhododendron forest with the view and sounds of the creek below.

Our place is in nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. Its home to a small group of sweet Alpacas and some Chickens on the property. Also, there is a country market adjacent to our property that serves sandwiches and food. We also have additional AIRBNB‘s on the property.
