The Regency Ilfracombe, whole building

The Regency is a Grade II listed mansion designed by W.C. Oliver and built by Shapland and Patter of Barnstaple in the 1880’s. It was originally meant to be for individual occupation by wealthy families however from 1907 to 1972 it was the Convent School of the Nuns of the Order of the Immaculate Conception who had come over from Brittany in 1903. In recent times The Regency was a residential care home and in 2019 it was fully renovated and now provides modern accommodation over four floors.

These villas also benefit from widened doorways for extra ease. As well as the access at the rear of the accommodation, these villas have an entrance at the front of the accommodation. They have a fully equipped kitchen, living space, and dining area. They also have fantastic sea views and come with a private veranda.
