Built in 1928, it is a cozy, rustic mountain cabin perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys and a variety of birds from the deck. Personal touches that make it feel like you are staying at a friend's place, it's perfect for couples and solo adventurers.

The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope.
